2025 HerUpland Youth, Collegiate & Women’s Scholarships
Empowering the Next Generation of Upland Enthusiasts
HerUpland is committed to educating and equipping women and girls with the skills and confidence to thrive in upland hunting, bird dog training, conservation, and mentorship. Through our annual scholarship program, we reduce financial barriers and open doors to immersive educational experiences.
Whether you’re a youth eager to explore the outdoors, a collegiate student deepening your conservation journey, or a woman taking her first confident steps into upland hunting—we’re here to support you.
Scholarship Awards
Youth & Collegiate Full Scholarship
One recipient per event
Full event registration
Meals and lodging for participant and one required chaperone
Women’s Half Scholarship
Two recipients per event
50% of event registration covered
Open to women 18+ passionate about growing in upland hunting or dog training
Scholarships are made possible by our HerUpland Network Community Members and private donors.
Eligibility

Youth & Collegiate Applicants:

Ages 10–17 (youth) or enrolled in a higher education institution

Demonstrate a passion for upland hunting, bird dog training, conservation, and/or mentorship

If under 18 years of age, Must attend with a parent or legal guardian as chaperone
Women Applicants:

Must be 18 years or older

Must demonstrate sincere interest in developing their skills in HerUpland’s core pillars

First-time participants and those with limited access to upland opportunities are especially encouraged to apply

Letter of Recommendation (Required for youth/collegiate applicants)
Rolling Deadline – Scholarships are awarded until filled for each event

Notification & Confirmation
Recipients will be notified via email within 4 weeks of the event application deadline and must confirm their acceptance to secure their spot.
Chaperone Guidelines (For Youth Scholarships)
All participants under 18 must attend with a chaperone.
Chaperones do not participate in shooting or dog training, but:
Must accompany youth in the field
Must wear blaze orange and proper upland attire
May attend seminars and demonstrations
May hunt independently during classroom sessions
Lodging and meals are fully covered
Want to participate? Chaperones may register as full participants if interested in instruction and hunting

HuNTING
Our educational programs are developed to address all areas of Upland Hunting and Safety, from beginner to experienced hunter.

WINGSHOOTING
HerUpland Mentors are passionate and accomplished field hunters, experienced Leaders, Teachers, and Guides who believe in sharing knowledge and encouraging Women around the world.

DOG TRAINING
Our instructional events are designed for new and experienced Upland Hunters. We teach the application of fundamentals of hunting, training, and the development of your dog as a hunting companion.

conservation
We are committed to supporting conservation organizations and the efforts being put forth to ensure public lands, hunting, and bird species are available to future generations.
educate and instruct our future generations
Help us keep our Camps accessible and provide fully funded Youth spots at our events for Girls and their Chaperone.
